A list of actions and their accompanying mouse shortcuts, keyboard shortcuts and acronyms are listed in a keymap. Predetermined keymaps cannot be altered. Instead, PyCharm creates a duplicate of that keymap that you can customize whenever you change any shortcut of a predefined keymap. Several Keymaps are provided by PyCharm to display the editor's most frequently used commands.
Go to ‘Settings’ under the ‘File’ tab, and then choose ‘Keymap’, to see the list of keymaps offered by PyCharm. To view the keymap setup, open the Settings (For Mac OS, you’ll find this option under Preferences) window by pressing Ctrl+Alt+S and choosing ‘Keymap’. This list of accessible actions and activities for which you can create or modify shortcuts is arranged. Consequently, it enables you to quickly locate a particular action.
The default keymap has parts for the editor actions, version control system, external tools, main menu, tool windows, macros, plug-ins, quick lists, and additional options.
