AWS Snowball

AWS Snowball is a data transfer service that allows you to transfer large amounts of data into and out of the AWS Cloud. It uses physical storage devices, called Snowballs, to transfer data, and can be used to migrate data to and from AWS or to move data between AWS regions or accounts.

Snowball comes in two sizes: 50 TB and 80 TB. It is designed for high-speed data transfer, with transfer rates of up to 80 TB per day. It is also secure, with data encrypted at rest and in transit, and with physical security measures in place to protect the Snowballs.

To use Snowball, you will need to create a job in the AWS Management Console or the AWS API, and specify the source and destination of your data. AWS will then ship a Snowball to you, and you will need to load the data onto the device and return it to AWS. Once the Snowball arrives at AWS, the data will be transferred to S3 or exported to your on-premises data center, depending on the type of job you created.
