When I look back at how I got enrolled in Great Learning, I just smile. I was browsing the internet on my phone when an ad popped up about a Postgraduate program in Cybersecurity from the University of Texas at Austin in collaboration with Great Learning. It just dawned on me to call the phone number provided, and I spoke to a gentleman who told me about the program, the flexible learning process, and the details of flexible payment terms I am actually an Electrical Engineer who has been working in the Power Sector of Ghana for the past 21 years. I've always yearned to venture into the Cybersecurity and Data Analysis field, as they offer great job opportunities in the current job market. This program has been a blessing, and I have no regrets about enrolling in it. The journey hasn’t been easy. I had to listen to recordings, attend Saturday mentor sessions, solve quizzes, and complete wonderful lab sessions and assignments. All this was while managing my workload at my company and being new to this field.But overall, it was a great experience. Sometimes, I wondered, “Can I solve this problem?” or “Can I do this lab?” But before I knew it, I was able to solve them, thanks to the faculty team. It was a wonderful experience. All the modules were great. Even though I’m new to this field, I have earned at least an ‘A’ or ‘A+’ in all the modules so far, with a CGPA of 4.11 in 3 modules. I am proud of myself and grateful to all the faculty members at Great Learning and the University of Texas at Austin. Special thanks to the Program Manager for her immense assistance. The programs were insightful, and with the knowledge I have acquired so far, I am hopeful it will provide me with great job opportunities, especially in the United States, as I plan to pursue further studies there.
