I am Raakhee Raghunandana, an MCA graduate and Certified Scrum Master & Experienced Program/Project Manager with significant experience and expertise around 15 years in Operations Management, Program Management, Project Management, Client Relations, Sales, Team Management, etc. in Information Technology and Services and relevant experiences in the field of Education.
Before Joining the PG program in Artificial Intelligence For Leaders, I was working in the IT field as a Program Manager and managing different projects in the health domain. I planned to work on a few upcoming projects related to AI. The challenge was to become part of the team for business analysis. I need to understand the concepts of AI better and be able to implement them in the right way. The challenge made me want to explore more into AI and get trained so that I can apply the knowledge in taking core decisions and managing the projects. Meanwhile, I was exploring options to learn AI, which finally led me to Great learning and from the feedback and review from earlier students and also from the Syllabus structure, which was introduced to me by the great learning executive and team and understanding how it will help me in career, made me decide to join and pursue the course in Great learning.
I was a little bit apprehensive of the tight schedule and assignments, but I was given proper assurance and guidance from the great learning team, and I was able to complete all the assignments and projects along with my busy schedule at work. The sessions were very informative and interactive. I got a chance to learn from the experts in the field.
The quality of the sessions was excellent, and it was very informative and interactive. I had constant support received from our mentor. We had weekly sessions with the faculty, which ensured we were covering any queries related to the course module and thus successfully allowed us to complete the assignments and tests and also a project in time with good grades.
My newly learned skill set has enabled me to undertake AI-driven projects in our organization and also has given me wide scope in the field of AI to apply in my career growth.
Capstone Journey:
We did the capstone project as a group of 3 team members. We discussed many topics and finally decided on one topic, and each one of us contributed from our side. We conducted meetings and shared our inputs and work. It was a really fun and knowledgeable experience, and finally, we presented our project to the panel and the group. Overall, it was a great experience since we were sharing the expertise among team members, which helped us to gain more knowledge and insight into different problem areas and How AI can be implemented for the same. We didn’t have much of an issue during the project except to accommodate the project planning meetings with the tight schedule we had on our work schedule. But by conducting meetings for project planning despite a tight schedule, we were having a great time discussing the project and excitement to do it. So we didn’t notice any hardship.
The various stages of project implementation, problem areas, and solutions were discussed and done through the capstone project. All this experience came in handy while I worked along with the team on the business scope of upcoming projects in the organization.
Professionally it is a valuable addition to my skills and gave a boost to my career growth and further scope in exploring the field. Personally, it gave me an excitement of achievement and happiness also to attain a certificate from Great learning and the University of Texas with a good percentage.
A piece of advice that I would give to people who are just starting with learning analytics is that Learn with Passion and interest, and there will be a lot of opportunities that will open up in your career once you are into it and Great learning is one of the best choice institutions to start the same.
