My name is Shashank Singh Rana, I’m a full-stack Java Developer having 11+ years of experience. Currently, I’m working with TIAA GBS for the last three years as a Senior Associate. I was working as a Full Stack Java developer and leading a team of 5 members for a UI modernization of a legacy project.
It feels like the technology I have been working on is going for ages and I needed to learn some new technologies which are going to be very important in the coming future and also It would have a great career opportunity. I came across some opportunities in my current organization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, hence thought of it as a great opportunity to shape my career in this direction
Great Learning over the years has built a strong brand which I believe draws trust towards it. I was amongst those who had heard a lot about this and went on to visit the website. I like the framework of the institute how despite all of us being remote, the platform gets the courses to our homes and as per our professional needs, adjusts the timings of the course in a way that makes it easier for us to manage our professional front along with ongoing studies.
I was, of course, a bit perplexed about how effective would it be on an online platform but it came to me that online makes it even much easier to balance out all aspects of our life be it personal or professional.
The sessions have turned out to be as good as a physical classroom instructor or professional delivering their expertise amongst our group of knowledge and growth seekers. We have got gifted mentors in disguise who along with their knowledge delivery leave no stone unturned to mentor us along in this journey together.
I am of the opinion that the quality delivered to us in the sessions is absolutely at par with our expectations. I like how the theoretical aspect of the subjects is so well jammed with the practical arena making the sessions fully packed with an accurate blend of each aspect of the subject matter
As they say, a good teacher is like a candle, it consumes itself to light the way for others, our mentors are the epitome of this say. They have their doors opened for us throughout. I believe under these unprecedented scenarios where physical presence isn’t a choice anymore, our mentors always give us the various routes to reach them via emails, calls, WhatsApp, etc., this makes it easier for us to just knock on the door once and we get the solutions ready to our queries or doubts. Their absolute presence around us makes this learning even more fun to test our waters and then rush to our mentors to that one helping hand and then to again get going with our learning curve.
I would just want to say to people that you can have full trust with the mode via which analytics would come your way. This learning is so well-framed and designed that the entirety feels like a smooth transition of a whole new phase of learning analytics. People should just take one step at a time, grasp what is delivered, ask whenever in doubt, and then move on to the next block. With this approach and our gifted mentors, your analytics journey can be ridden with as much ease as possible.
