Tell us about your professional background.
I was working in the security field from day one. I wanted to explore web applications security. Right now, I am working in infrastructure security. I thought that Great Learning was a good opportunity, thus, I decided to join this program.
Why Great Learning?
I actually saw an ad that came outside my office, and I was quite impressed with the Stanford course that was being offered here. This was the main reason that I decided to join.
Why did you choose to upskill?
When I was in college, we were taught only about infrastructure security and not about any of the latest concepts. I wanted to learn more about web application and other such securities. Upskilling with the help of this program seemed like the best option for me.
What did you like the most about the course?
My favourite part of the program was the course on Cryptography. It was very interesting and we learnt a lot from it. The course curriculum was good too. We gained knowledge about various tools being used. Largely, I was able to achieve most of what I wanted to from the program.
Advice for future cybersecurity aspirants.
Keep in touch with the industry tools and gain some knowledge before you join the course. Touch-up on basic concepts and be enthusiastic about cybersecurity. This will help you move forward in your career.
