I would like to thank my professors Ms Ann Grace, Mr Girish Aithal, Mr Aniruddha Kalbande, Mr Sayan Dey, Mr Vivekanand R, Mr Jayanth Rasamsetti, Ms Sowmya Vivek, Mr Mahesh Anand.
Also, my mentors Ms Selvi Chelladurai, Ms Priya Valayapathi, Mr Saravanan, Ms Meena Vardhini, Mr Srikar Muppidi, and the Management Head Mr Vikalp Bhardwaj and his team.
It has been a great experience being a part of an Institution which not only provides quality education but also helped groom my personality.
What role did GL play in helping you restart your career?
After a career break of 3 years, I found it challenging to restart my career. I faced difficulty in getting a job and upgrading my skill set. The PGP DSE program offered by Great Learning turned out to be a blessing in disguise. This program provides a unique opportunity to learn every concept required to start my career as a Data Scientist. The classes and assignments are rigorous, and Professors are top-notch. Equal importance is given to both theoretical and practical understanding. I got excellent personalised support from the placements team in finding the right job.
What did you like about the course and curriculum?
The course material is very comprehensive, engaging and application-oriented rather than just theory. The case studies and assignments in the course have different flavours- some are programming heavy, some are test analytics techniques, and some improve business understanding. The important thing is real-world exposure through datasets which need to be cleaned and prepared.
The faculty is extremely helpful and prompt in clearing doubts not just by explaining but also by allowing me to think and reach the solution on my own. This gave me a lot of scope to think on my own and come up with innovative solutions, and provided me with a great sense of satisfaction.
