Our team selected Capstone Topic – SmartCarAssist – An AI-based mobile application to assist customers using cars. Initially, we discussed and identified the prime vision of the project and derived the name closest to its functionality.
We utilized various AI Concepts applied in the Capstone Project. A few of them were:
- Neural Networks
- Computer Vision
- Selecting the right data attributes
- Annotation Tools
Additional Comments:
The Learning outcome from the capstone project was:
1. Getting very specific to the problem that is being solved is very important for a successful project
2. A reliable revenue model has to be in place
3, Getting the most appropriate data to start with very important as the first step for the project
These are some key learnings that I derived from the capstone project.
The Capstone Experience was Amazing.
Every step was new and attempt to visualize the problem from different angles. It required a technical, financial, and industrial view. In each review call, we received a new perspective that added a lot of value to the report collated
I see this is as a Great Learning experience and every next step has been extremely informative.

The overall PGP AIFL program was an amazing experience.
I think the course has really been a Great Learning.
To me (A java developer /Cloud Advisory Consultant), it adds a new realm of Data, AI, and Machine learning. Throughout the course, I had to constantly be on my toes to make justice with class and tests and projects – I think this is the best part and every minute was worth it.
Thank you for making it this way, as it keeps us engaged.
I am looking forward to applying AI in my Cloud Advisory engagements as we work on data to understand and predict the right landing zone for the application. Like:
- What Cloud could be the best landing zone,
- What service model can be recommended,
- Whether an application should ne containerized, and more.
Lastly, I want to thank Prof Anwesh for the very useful guidance during the Capstone Project, all the instructors – as the recordings were like oceans of knowledge, Padma Priya Saraswatula, Prof Jatinder Bedi, Professor Abhinanda Sarkar, and Priya Bohra – for great coordination and assistance.
