I have a bachelor’s degree in commerce, and I am interested in evolving technologies, and it’s applications. I am currently doing an internship in a textile retail shop in the areas of finance and information technology. I was almost done with my bachelor’s degree and had completed a few other online courses when I had joined this PG program of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
I always wanted to learn technology and use it in real-world settings. I did not find the traditional way of learning to be very interesting as it is very monotonous and less hands-on. This PG program addresses these issues and is very enjoyable, and has a practical approach towards learning. I chose GL as I read good reviews, and also, having a chat with one of the GL staff convinced me that this was the right thing to do. I did not have any apprehensions that this was an online course.
The mentored learning sessions are extremely important to me as it helps me to brush up on concepts from the lectures, get my doubts clarified by a subject matter expert, and help me apply my learnings to solve real-world problems. The quality of the mentoring sessions is impeccable. My mentor has been extremely helpful to me in the course thus far. He teaches the concepts taught in class in great detail, gives me additional reference materials, and always clarifies doubts even after our mentor sessions.
I have deployed the limited AIML skills I acquired from the course thus far in my internship, and I would advise my fellow learners to keep learning each concept in-depth as the course progresses and to keep pace with the schedule.
