In this role I face various professional challenges, causing the process to stop or slow, and to streamline the operation, I need to deal with a lot of data and time is money for any manufacturing industry. So, our team was given a project to decrease the processing time to increase production. During this project, we have done a lot of analysis to gather a large amount of data. And finally, we have successfully carried out our project. Our project was also recognized as the Best Data Analytic Project for productivity improvement across the JSW group.
Data Science and Business analytics is a kind of program that offers mentorship to working professionals through one of 1-1 industry sessions. The training material provided at Great Learning has helped me understand data and business requirements.
During my journey, the mentored learning sessions played a very important role to help me understand real-life concepts through industry experts. It brings in a lot of value, and they have practical knowledge about what is currently happening in the industry. My mentor, Ms. Netali has a very unique way of clearing complicated concepts where she has simplified complex techniques by giving us real-life examples that I will remember forever.
And thanks to that now I can handle and do analysis from a large quantity of data and get analytic information that I cannot simply do from Excel. Also, I have learned and used various concepts for predicting the outcomes and representing my analysis in a very informatic way, the credit goes to Great Learning and to the Mentors.
My advice to people who are looking forward to learning analytics: While undergoing courses and training, you should focus on the practical applications of things you are learning. This would help you not only understand the concept but also give you a deeper sense of how it would be applied in reality. Also, make sure you do all the exercises and assignments to understand the applications.
