I have 3 years of experience in software testing and am currently working as an Automation Test Engineer with Datagain Services. I majorly work on Java and Selenium. I love physics and mathematics, which are my favorite subject. That’s why I chose to do a bachelor’s in Engineering. After graduation, I started my career as a Site Engineer. By that time, I realized that the kind of spark I was looking for in my work culture and domain was missing, and that’s where the exploration began. And then, I learned java programming and changed my domain to IT.
For the last 2 years, I have been thinking about how I can become an AI Engineer. Before enrolling in the course, I started learning AIML through various online courses available in the market. I have been working on Java for the last 3 years and wanted to learn something different. Pursuing the PGP program was the best option. That’s why I chose the PGP-AIML program at Great Learning. It is the best platform to learn new technologies. My friends suggested not to take such risks by trying to make a transition, but I have taken this as my biggest challenge, and I am glad that I decided to be part of Great Lakes Executive Learning. I know it is not easy. I have started learning with Great Learning with full dedication.
The mentoring sessions are very good and help in building strong basics. The projects are designed in a manner that will force you to deep dive into the topics. Mentored learning sessions are very helpful in understanding the concept. The way my mentor explains any topic is amazing. My mentor always cleared my doubts and queries, sometimes even on days when there was no scheduled mentor session. My Mentor has always been there for help.
The course made me realize the importance of data in today’s world and helped in making me more confident in analyzing data, performing analysis, and building clear concepts of machine learning algorithms. Whatever I have learned even before joining Great Learning, I started utilizing it in practice.
Great Learning’s approach to learning is diversified. I would advise future aspirants not to restrict themselves to one specific technology. It is important to keep your mind open as the world is constantly developing and changing. Hard work and dedication will reward you well.
