I am an MBA graduate with an Engineering degree having over 10+ years of work experience mainly in the Media & Entertainment industry. I have worked across multiple roles like programmer, consultant, Digital head and Account management. I was working as a Content Alliance Manager with a Social Media Platform.
I picked up Great learning after doing internet research and speaking with folks who have undergone similar courses with Great Learning. I really did not have any reservations for learning online as it was suitable for my travelling job profile.
At Great Learning, the mentor sessions were really helpful in terms of revising the concepts and understanding them. They made it easier to understand the codes and concept applications in a programming sense. The quality was really good.
The mentor was really helpful in the success of this program. They helped me understand better in terms of a few course concepts and often gave us industry insights and examples.
I have just begun to apply the skill set and targeting to achieve small milestones in the next 6 months.
My advice to people who are just starting with learning analytics is to begin with understanding how data flows in your current role and organization, try to understand or involve in analytical activity in your current department and organization.
