I grew up in a very small town of Assam where after schooling people know only two paths to follow: Engineering or Medicine. As I scored fairly well during my school, and I have the highest marks in biology, so my parents decided my career “To Be the Doctor Of the Family”. And I ended up taking a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Slowly I started digging in and started exploring my interest. There was a subject in my medical course, Research and Statistics. I was deep into it. I was searching where I can learn Statistics. I finally joined Master the Public Health Management where my core subjects were Biostatistics and Population Studies. That’s where I started grooming my analytical skills and exploring more. In college, I learned all statistical concept tools like SAS, R, and SPSS, and later got SAS certified.
Post that, I joined as a data analyst intern in one of the consultancy services. Eventually, I got an opportunity in Genpact as a senior associate. After joining Genpact, my interest to learn more increased. Then, I joined the Great Learning PGP – DSBA program which really helped me a lot to sharpen my skills more. Day-by-day, I am more confident on what my ambition is. I have been promoted to Business Analyst in Genpact.

The Mentor learning sessions were really good. And all the awesome faculties are real gems. It was very helpful, insightful and there are so many opportunities to learn from them. These sessions are the platform where we can come up with doubts and clarify which helps us to understand the concepts more deeply. I will say 5/5. Really good one. All of them.
My mentor’s effort to make me understand the concept is the point which I would really appreciate post online sessions. Constant support through mail, WhatsApp and group discussions are the integral part of this. I have really achieved very good support and I really appreciate that patience and dedication.
