I am Archana Patil, have completed my Diploma in Electronics and communication. I have a work experience of about ~5 years in the Analytics domain and started my career as an Associate analyst in the year 2016 Nov with a startup. I worked mainly on Excel for 2 years. I moved to another startup where I was a bit exposed to SQL while working there. I thought I wanted to pursue more about Analytics and decided to take up this course, PGP DSBA with Great Learning, after careful consideration. It helped me with my SQL and Tableau understanding and python.
Working as Business Analyst, majorly working on Excel, SQL, problem-solving, and report building. I had knowledge in bits and parts on a few topics like SQL and, Tableau, python after taking this course. It gave me a streamlined and systematic learning approach and helped me understand the concepts.
I researched a lot before enrolling and found that GL provides live mentorship sessions, and there were so many good reviews the course was designed in a systematic, very detailed level for a beginner to start with. Hence I chose GL.
I had complete support from my mentor and Program manager to clear all my doubts timely. I absolutely liked these sessions as they gave a lot of understanding and time to clear the concepts and doubts while learning. Very well supported, always listened to all the queries, and tried to cover as much as possible with given time constraints.
My advice is before you enroll, please be informed that this course is very detailed and vast and a lot of people are working professionals, and we have to manage work and studies parallelly. Be mentally prepared to give a couple of hours on a daily basis, be enthusiastic, a lot of help is provided here no doubt in it. Just believe in yourself and don’t get overwhelmed.
