I graduated in Mining Engg. from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad in 2004. It has been great learning with different profiles as Engg. (Mines) in core Mining operations and then into Sales, followed by Marketing in the Mining Engineering domain, and now while working with Epiroc leading the team to take the business to greater heights is altogether a phenomenal learning experience and a great exposure. Read about my journey with Great Learning’s PGP Data Science and Business Analytics Course in my own words.

I work as a Regional Manager with Epiroc based out of Chennai. The biggest challenge was an entirely different subject, including Python that was to be studied for the first time ever. The challenge motivated me to learn something new that is going to rule the world in skills and opportunities.

Great Lakes is a reputed institute. Learning in an online medium turned out to be a happy-go-lucky kind of experience with a great mentor, mentoring sessions & a good bunch of batch mates.

These mentoring sessions made the learning convenient and provided guidance to cruise through all the modules effectively. All sessions were creative informative and provided an ocean of knowledge. Mentor made the subject and modules clear and crisp. It was his role and effective skills that made the subject seem understandable.

I could implement it in my existing role by using Predictive modeling, Time series forecasting, and other topics.

Be focused and enjoy the course and mentoring sessions. It is altogether different learning from core subjects and definitely helps in professional life.
