As a professional from a diversified background with over 12 years of experience, last year during the 2020 pandemic some thoughts came to my mind on how I can take advantage of the 5 days’ work from home opportunity. Over the last 4.5 years, I have been working as a Business Systems Analyst.
The common attributes or the key takeaway that I gathered from each of those projects is that most of the organizations are now more inclined to take the benefit of Cloud implementation and I learned that the organizations are now:
a) Adopting applications migration to the cloud
b) Higher management started supporting application development to the cloud over on-premises
c) Higher management urging to rewrite the application architecture to a cloud-based architecture
So, by keeping all the above points in mind I felt that the best option for me is to invest my available time (time saved from office commute) in learning cloud technology, and then I started my research. I came across many online training programs but what stands out the most to me from all the other institutes was “Great Learning” and I am happy to be a student of Great Learning due to the following reasons:
a) Well-structured program outline that covers almost all the modules that I was looking for. Example: AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud, DevOps Containers, etc.
b) The program will not only make you a cloud professional but you will also be certified by the “University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business”.
d) The Great Learning support liaison articulated to me so well and I was able to make the right decision and today I am so happy that I selected Great Learning as my training provider for my cloud journey.
Now, after the successful completion of PGPCC (Post Graduate Program in Cloud Computing), I can embark on my professional career as a successful cloud professional.
