Hi! I am Abhishek Gund. I have around nine years of IT industry experience. I am currently working in HCL technology LTD as Technical lead. Read further to learn more about my journey with Great Learning’s Data Science and Business Analytics Course in my own words.
I always wanted to upskill myself, and that is why I had joined this Data Science and Business Analytics program to gain additional knowledge and be more presentable in the IT world. I chose Great Learning’s DSBA program as it is a well-known institute in the market, and it was also recommended by one of my office friends.
The Mentored learning sessions have been really informative and useful. These sessions helped me to correlate the learning concepts with real-world problems. It was very insightful, and there are so many opportunities to learn from the mentors. These sessions are the platform where we can come up with doubts and clarify, which helps us to understand the concepts more deeply. Mentors are so supportive and immensely helpful in solving our queries and doubts. It helped to analyze what data could do, how it was being implemented, and why we were studying a particular concept. When the ‘why’ is clear, the ‘how’ becomes easy. Those gave me more clarity on how to use new skills in various industries. The quality of the mentored learning session was very technical and functional.
The guidance provided by the mentors was really important as they played a pivotal role in helping us to gain hands-on experience in the concepts. They helped me to understand each crucial concept in a simple and easy way.
Now, post completion of the program, I feel more confident, and I am looking at myself standing ahead in the queue while looking for opportunities in the market.
My suggestion to all those who are planning to take the course is to keep learning incrementally. You have to be serious and punctual while giving weekly quizzes, month-end projects, and other assessments. Have a lot of hands-on on plenty of case studies.
