To support this motive, we have recently announced the second edition of our #HerFreshStart campaign. This campaign is planned by our team to encourage recent mothers to return to their careers after a break. The campaign’s purpose is to glorify motherhood and women’s careers. In this initiative, we are offering a scholarship of up to 50 percent to the selected mothers. They can enroll for their choice of career focussed programs like Data Science, Business Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering for Data Science, Blockchain, IoT, Management, and Digital Marketing.

As per our Co-Founder, Hari Krishnan Nair, “Motherhood should be just a pause in a woman’s professional journey and not a full stop. Through this campaign, we aim to amplify the voices of new mothers – their stories, proud moments, and career aspirations, and encourage them to return to work strengthened with better skills and credentials. Upskilling could be a game-changer for new moms, with opportunities continuing to open up in fields like Analytics, AI, Digital Marketing, and Cloud Computing.”
Our Chief Marketing Officer, Aparna Mahesh, said, “As a working mother myself, I am well versed with the challenges and responsibilities of wearing two hats. While motherhood is a journey, so is one’s career. At Great Learning, one of our many endeavors is to enable new moms to take charge of their career and continue to achieve greater heights professionally. Through this campaign, we aim to do just that by providing an opportunity for mothers to resume their career by helping them hone their skills. Upskilling will enable mothers who are looking at re-starting their career as opportunities continue to open up in fields like analytics, AI, Digital Marketing and Cloud Computing and more.”
At Great Learning, we have invited people to nominate mothers they know who have recently given birth and took a break from their careers. People are required to comment on our posts on Twitter, Linked In, and Facebook with #HerFreshStart and tag Great Learning along with it. The campaign will run between May 6 and 10. The nominees can then submit their form with a Statement of Purpose and a brief introduction of their background. They are also required to state why they believe they deserve the scholarship for nominating themselves. The nominee should have more than 60% in X, XII, and graduation along with a birth certificate or a hospital statement of fewer than 6 months old.
We have launched this campaign exclusively for the recent mothers who took a maternity break and are struggling to reinvent their careers.
