Tell us about your professional background.
I’m a fresh graduate who finished my studies in 2019. I did my Engineering in Information technology from Mumbai University. After completing my engineering, I took up this course from Great Learning. And after completing the course, I got an opportunity with Conneqt Business Solutions, formerly known as Tata Business Solutions, all through the placements provided by Great Learning.

My uncle is working with Wipro, he made me aware of Data Science. I did my research and found out about Great Learning through its reviews and ratings. I realized that Great Learning was providing an excellent course that is manageable. Another benefit was that it is a short term course. These are the main reasons due to which I chose to take up the PGP Data Science and Engineer course.
Why did you choose to upskill?
I felt that four years of Engineering wasn’t helping me grow in the industry. This is when I realized I needed to upskill myself. I wanted to be more industry-ready. The Data Science course by Great Learning was what I wanted to take up. Another point is that I love coding.
What did you like the most about the course?
It is designed in a well thought out manner. The course covers everything that is needed to grow in the industry. The course was managed well too. The curriculum was structured well, and the mentors were extremely helpful. The Bootcamp sessions were very well planned, and the placements were also nicely designed.

Were you able to achieve your career goals, and how was the career support provided?
My current company, due to the COVID-19 situation, could not take me in. However, when I discussed this with the Great Learning team, they contacted the company the very next day and reached out to me with help. They have asked me to be a part of the placement drives which are currently happening. This is the kind of support I’m receiving. Great, I must say!
Any advice for the future PGP- DSE aspirants?
Data Science is the top 10 most desired courses, and I would suggest you go with Great Learning. It’s the best you can ask for.
