I have around 6+years of experience in project analysis, design, and development. I started my career with Tech Mahindra Ltd, worked there for around 5+ years, and moved to UST, where I was for around a year. I had to take a break for some years after maternity leaves to take care of my family and kids. I was on a career break after my maternity leave. I wanted to restart my career and was looking forward to upskilling myself with the new technology and skills.
The challenge was to complete this program along with taking care of the kids and family. And also, to start learning and working after 7 a gap of 7 years is a bit challenging. Also, the Machine learning field was completely new to me.
The Great learning syllabus for the PGP-AIML course was good. Also certified by the University of Texas, Austin. And the mentoring sessions by working professionals were good. The best part of the course was the mentoring sessions by working professionals, helping us to understand things better and also helping in understand the industry aspects of many topics. The Mentor session was helpful, especially the case studies.
Mentor reviews on the project assignments were helpful in understanding the different aspects and improvement areas. While doing the capstone project, the mentor was really helpful in delegating tasks among the team, reviewing the work, and getting the best work out of the team.
Through the newly learned skill sets, I got a job in the machine learning field in spite of the career break of 7 years. Right now, I am working with SaamaTechnology as a Machine Learning Research Engineer.
The advice for the new people starting with the course would be that,
It is a field with lots of opportunities, and now many new AI-related studies and works are booming. If you love to play and explore with data and love to do analysis and research.
