Tell us about your professional background.
I am mainly a programmer who works on windows programming. My work experience consists of over 10 years of work experience as a Software engineer in various companies and levels. Currently, I am working as the Technical lead in Schneider Electric Software.
Why Great Learning?
My company was moving into Cloud Computing and this is why I decided to upskill and learn the latest technologies. I chose Great Learning after going through the website. The mentors’ support, videos, blogs related to cloud computing, etc., looked promising to me. Other websites didn’t provide as much information and weren’t convincing.
What was the best part of the PGP- Cloud Computing program?
One of the best aspects of the course would be the mentor sessions. These sessions were beneficial in numerous ways, it helped us revise concepts. The weekly assignments helped in staying focused and in learning all the concepts. Another great factor of the Cloud Computing course was the course curriculum. It was structured in the right manner and can be helpful for a beginner since it covers all the key concepts required.

How did Great Learning help you achieve your goals?
My main goal was to stay in the same field, thus I didn’t opt for any career support. But I can safely say that GL has helped me in achieving my short term goal of learning the concepts and moving into this domain in the right way.

I would say that everything about Great Learning and its course is good, you should go ahead and take it up if you wish to make a transition into this field.
