Enhancement in Customer Satisfaction

I am working as Program Manager with one of the large IT firms in India.

In one of my recent projects I came across a Business Problem related to Defects leaked into Production for one of the Large Payment Service Provider company in USA

I identified the ‘root causes’, carried out Univariate & Bi-variate analysis and correlation with multiple parameters which are responsible for defect leakage. This analysis is done for the last 1 year of data and categorized the optimal (critical) causes which posed maximum risk of defect leakage and linked the associated defects to the additional test cases to make sure there is effective test coverage for future Test Runs.

This approach has not only closed the gaps in our test approach but made sure that the test pack consists of ONLY the needed business critical test cases based on past leakages but not all. Thus saving execution time and efforts.

This has increased testers productivity and helped in enhancing customer satisfaction.
