Email is one of the best methods for reaching out to follow up, where you express how interested you are in the given role, along with it you are also respectful of your contact’s times. Set down a few short sentences together thanking them for their time in reading your application and also ask them if they have any queries regarding your resume or your credentials. We know not all hiring managers send a reply, but a follow-up email shows how passionate you are about this role. This act will just build a difference between you and a candidate who might have applied to have similar credentials. And make sure you send the mail from a professional sounding email address and a good subject line. Then we would recommend you to follow up via social network: If you have directly spoken to the hiring manager or you have the name of the recruiter, then it’s completely justifiable to talk to them via social networks.
