I would rank it as the best 12 months I have invested for myself to upgrade my knowledge, skills and above all my self-confidence. I was circumspect to begin with since I was taking up education after a gap of almost 2 decades and above all had absolutely no experience in working with any software language as such. But what the PGP-DSBA course has done to me is phenomenal – It has imparted me with critical analytical skills and has added immense value to my existing work profile. I head the corporate planning function with an engineering company and I must say that PGP-DSBA has taken my understanding of data and the ability to derive business insights out of it to a different level altogether.
I must congratulate Great Learning for the way the program has been structured, the pedagogy, the content, the seamless administration,the rigor and above all the feedback that the team sought from participants from time to time to make all the participants comfortable. I must thank you Lakshay for your support and Sakhsi Nayak who supported my batch during the earlier phases.
I remain indebted to all my virtual mentors (I would really like to meet them someday in person) – Mr Gurumoorthy Pattabiraman, Prof P.K. Vishwanathan, Prof Mukesh Rao, Dr Kumar Muthuraman, Dr Abhinanda Sarkar, Mr. Raghavshyam Ramamurthy and all others. Though we only saw them through videographed lectures, I think the learning they have imparted is permanent. My biggest thanks are to our batch mentor Mr. Animesh Tiwari who was a guiding light through the entire journey. Also many thanks to the entire back-end team, the management and support staff at Great Learning to make my journey so smooth and memorable.
Great Learning has been re-defining the paradigm in the administration of executive education and with breaking down of physical barriers and distance (which the pandemic forced upon us in a way), I personally think that the growth in online executive education is going to be absolutely exponential. I am sure that Great Learning would continue the fabulous work they have been doing and provide working executives in India and globally with the opportunity and platform to constantly upgrade themselves.
