I am currently working in Nvidia Graphics Pvt. Ltd, Pune as a manager of the Deep Learning solutions team. I joined Nvidia eleven years ago as a college graduate. I have completed my bachelor’s in Computer Science (B.Sc.) and my master’s in Computer Application (MCA). I am pursuing a PG program in AI & ML from the University of Texas, Austin, and Great Lakes facilitated by Great Learning.

Before joining the PG program in AI and ML, I worked as the team manager, building solutions for various teams using Deep Learning. Being a GPU and visual computing company, a lot of manual efforts are spent to check the visual performance and report visual corruption or anomalies. To cover numerous different configurations manually in a given time frame is practically impossible given the limited number of resources. So, to overcome this, we had to automate these tests and verify the visual performance using Deep Learning.

Nvidia has a large user base with a wide variety of desktop and laptop configurations. So, we observe several performance or corruption issues specific to various configurations. It is practically impossible to test every configuration manually, limiting the testing effort. So there is a risk of missing a few bugs, which could lead to poor user experience and, in turn, dent the company’s reputation.

We applied Deep Learning techniques to detect various types of corruption found in games, videos, etc. We were able to train separate models for every corruption type. We then combined all these models to provide a whole corruption detection solution leveraged by many teams in the organization. With the deep learning solution, we could help the automation teams to automate 3000+ test cases. Ran these automated test cases on numerous configurations not covered earlier, minimizing the risk of missing essential bugs. Great Learning facilitated my AIML learning journey and helped me grow as an individual. I was able to gain machine learning knowledge which I lacked. Extensive practice assessments, quizzes, and assignments gave me crucial hands-on experience. Hands-on experience in building various models using different technologies gives you significant experience. I want to thank Great Learning for setting me on this Great learning journey.
