I am a Senior Technical Consultant from a reputed IT company and delivering solutions for Data Engineering requirements. Before joining the PG program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, I was a Fullstack Developer.
My absolute biggest professional challenge before joining this program was practicing consistency in learning. I have been following the online courses without any targets to completion, and most of the time, it was incomplete. Hence decided to join Great Learning, where I can invest my quality time wisely for consistent learning using their flexible learning approach for working professionals like me.
I am a frequent user of online learning platforms to upskill myself. I wanted to do a professional course on data technologies and found Great Learning as one of the highly recommended learning services through Google and friends. My footprint in IT was started at a reputed MNC where I was offered mentor-based training, and it is being very effective throughout my 12+ years of experience. Hence I always trust mentored-based sessions over simple online courses.
I would like to give 5-star ratings for the Great Learning mentoring session. This is for:
- The quality of the material content
- The quality of the mentor session: the mentors were so professional and able to clarify my queries which even reflected their experience having in the data industry. The mentor was able to guide me appropriately.
- Pace of the curriculum: the pace of the curriculum has been excellent because of which I can achieve the AIML certification with an Excellent grade.
Also, this overall learning experience has increased the learning curve steep for me.
My accomplished newly learned skill set is that I can understand the role of AIML if provided with project requirements and able to recommend the AIML based solution over traditional methods.
I am recommending the colleagues who are seeking advice on the AIML program. A few advice is anyone planning to pursue this program should have the below:
- Must have programming skills.
- Python
- Understanding of basic mathematics principles in Probability & Statistics as well as Matrix concepts.
